Pretty Pouches

I am back!

I am back!!!  This last year has been pretty crazy.  Gil and I got married!  We had an incredible wedding here in AZ with so many of our wonderful friends and family.  We had guests from England, Wales, Israel, Prague, Singapore...many from Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, Georgia, California...and of course our local peeps in Scottsdale and PHX.  It was an AMAZING day and week!  I will never forget it.  We later started house hunting, found one....remodeled....and moved in!  So needless to say I let the blog slip!  2011 and the first half of 2012 have been my best years as far as Luverlies go.  I have had so many orders...its been super exciting!  Rosie, who I work with at MRT (and who also taught me how to sew) is making cute diaper bag pouches and ADORABLE dresses to match the blankets.  We are working on a diaper bag and trying to think of some cute boy outfit ideas too.  So I think the next year is going to be even more awesome full of new ideas!  I am excited to show you all.  I am going to post a bunch of cute blankets and luverlies items that were created in the past year....and some adorable baby photos I received from amazing moms!  Enjoy...and as always....let me know if you need a custom blanket for your little one or a friend!

Baby Stella B

Emily gave her friend a Luverlies blanket...greens, browns, yellows and whites. The blanket has a retro crafty feel Emily thought was perfect for Christine.
Christine emailed me photos of her darling daughter Stella. She looks like such a beautiful happy little girl...now 8 months old!

Baby McKay

Our friends Michelle and Jay moved to Singapore a while ago and wanted to send their friends in Florida a blanket for their new baby girl. Michelle said something girly without being too pink! I think this floral fabric with teal and beige worked out so cute. A little modern flare and perfect for a Florida couple. I hope they love it!

Baby Polsky

Kara asked I make a blanket for our friend Karen who had her first baby girl. I havent met her yet but from what I hear she is absolutely precious!

Baby Alayna

Shannon asked me to make a blanket for her niece, Alayna. She wanted something with a combinations of greens and whites to match their birthstones. She even had a custom label with a message I sewed into the corner. What a wonderful thoughtful gift Alayna will cherish forever!

Baby Jordan

Amy asked me to make a blanket for our long time friend Sarah who is expecting a baby boy very soon. I didn't even know Sarah was having a Hippo theme for the nursery. How perfect!
