Lisa's Luverlies...going International!

It is official...Lisa's Luverlies blankets are in the United States, Great Britain...and now Israel!!! Gil just went to visit family in Israel and we made special blankets for Roee & Maya's baby girl Gili. We also made one for Michal and Elad who had their first baby boy just days before Gil arrived in Israel. It worked out perfect!

Baby Gili (brown and baby blue flowers) Isn't she adorable!

Baby Yotam (red, brown and creme-solid and pattern mix) Photo of Utam soon! :)

The cutest burp cloths ever! $15 each.

I have sold all of these but I am working on a new selection for 2010. Stay tuned...

Hooter Hider

My latest creation is a nursing cover...aka...Hooter Hider! I first saw something like this when my friend Alexa gave it to Jaclyn at her baby shower. I had never even heard of such a thing but apparently they are used ALL the time! So I went on a search for a pattern...and found one! I made this one with fabric to match one of my boy blankets and a coordinating draw string bag. I of course made a little onesie to match as well. It is almost like an apron that slides and adjusts over your head. There is boning in the front to allow the mother to look down at the baby. There is also a little towel fabric sewn into the corners for easy cleanup and also double as pockets. It turned out really cute and is still available. I will also do customs to match blankets already sold or new orders! Just ask! And only $50 for the bag and cover. Pretty darn good!

Teal and Orange blanket sold!

At the latest trunk show I sold a Teal and Orange blanket to a young couple who are expecting. They promised to send pictures and let me know the name soon!

Trunk Show at Kitchen Sink Studios

We held a "trunk show" at Kitchen Sink Studios (Clare's work) down town Pheonix at First Friday. It was fabulous! KSS has a vacant space (which needs to be rented - if you know of anyone!) and it was perfect for the 4 vendors! Clare showed some of her artwork (http://www.galleryonthird.com/) Christy displayed her jewelry (http://www.comesundown.etsy.com/) and the girls from Perfect Dressipe (http://www.perfectdressipe.com/) showed some of their awesome accessories. Zella Day (she is only 14) played guitar and sang music! It was a great night and a great success so I will let you know when we plan to do the next event!

Tony's Neighbors

Tony asked me to design a blanket for his neighbors who are expecting their first baby boy...very soon. We put together the cutest blanket with bumble bees and used colors of baby blue and yellow. Also, the back has a really soft yellow flannel. I made a burp cloth and a onesie to go with it!

Baby Tyler

Tiffany's baby blanket:
Amy had me make a blanket for Tiffany who we both have been friends with since grade school! Tiffany is expecting a baby boy soon...and promises she will update me with pictures of the little one on the blanket. I love the turquoise, green, and chocolate brown colors together!

Little Diva Hair Bows

Hi All....I will be posting the latest and greatest blankets soon. In the mean time, I wanted to share a website to an artist in Michigan. She makes the cutest "little diva" hair accessories!

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe it is November already. I haven't posted any of the latest blankets because I have been so busy! I guess that's a good thing though. I have had back to back Trunk Shows so building up stock is not an easy task, especially when orders are still coming in. For you Phoenix folks, the next Trunk Show is this Friday downtown Phoenix at Kitchen Sink Studios. There will be 5 artists - great for holiday shopping!!! Email me if you need more details.
I will post the latest blankets next week...there have been some really cute ones.
Oh...and I started making Nursing Covers - aka - "Hooter Hiders".
