Lisa's Luverlies...going International!

It is official...Lisa's Luverlies blankets are in the United States, Great Britain...and now Israel!!! Gil just went to visit family in Israel and we made special blankets for Roee & Maya's baby girl Gili. We also made one for Michal and Elad who had their first baby boy just days before Gil arrived in Israel. It worked out perfect!

Baby Gili (brown and baby blue flowers) Isn't she adorable!

Baby Yotam (red, brown and creme-solid and pattern mix) Photo of Utam soon! :)

The cutest burp cloths ever! $15 each.

I have sold all of these but I am working on a new selection for 2010. Stay tuned...

Hooter Hider

My latest creation is a nursing cover...aka...Hooter Hider! I first saw something like this when my friend Alexa gave it to Jaclyn at her baby shower. I had never even heard of such a thing but apparently they are used ALL the time! So I went on a search for a pattern...and found one! I made this one with fabric to match one of my boy blankets and a coordinating draw string bag. I of course made a little onesie to match as well. It is almost like an apron that slides and adjusts over your head. There is boning in the front to allow the mother to look down at the baby. There is also a little towel fabric sewn into the corners for easy cleanup and also double as pockets. It turned out really cute and is still available. I will also do customs to match blankets already sold or new orders! Just ask! And only $50 for the bag and cover. Pretty darn good!

Teal and Orange blanket sold!

At the latest trunk show I sold a Teal and Orange blanket to a young couple who are expecting. They promised to send pictures and let me know the name soon!

Trunk Show at Kitchen Sink Studios

We held a "trunk show" at Kitchen Sink Studios (Clare's work) down town Pheonix at First Friday. It was fabulous! KSS has a vacant space (which needs to be rented - if you know of anyone!) and it was perfect for the 4 vendors! Clare showed some of her artwork (http://www.galleryonthird.com/) Christy displayed her jewelry (http://www.comesundown.etsy.com/) and the girls from Perfect Dressipe (http://www.perfectdressipe.com/) showed some of their awesome accessories. Zella Day (she is only 14) played guitar and sang music! It was a great night and a great success so I will let you know when we plan to do the next event!

Tony's Neighbors

Tony asked me to design a blanket for his neighbors who are expecting their first baby boy...very soon. We put together the cutest blanket with bumble bees and used colors of baby blue and yellow. Also, the back has a really soft yellow flannel. I made a burp cloth and a onesie to go with it!

Baby Tyler

Tiffany's baby blanket:
Amy had me make a blanket for Tiffany who we both have been friends with since grade school! Tiffany is expecting a baby boy soon...and promises she will update me with pictures of the little one on the blanket. I love the turquoise, green, and chocolate brown colors together!

Little Diva Hair Bows

Hi All....I will be posting the latest and greatest blankets soon. In the mean time, I wanted to share a website to an artist in Michigan. She makes the cutest "little diva" hair accessories!

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe it is November already. I haven't posted any of the latest blankets because I have been so busy! I guess that's a good thing though. I have had back to back Trunk Shows so building up stock is not an easy task, especially when orders are still coming in. For you Phoenix folks, the next Trunk Show is this Friday downtown Phoenix at Kitchen Sink Studios. There will be 5 artists - great for holiday shopping!!! Email me if you need more details.
I will post the latest blankets next week...there have been some really cute ones.
Oh...and I started making Nursing Covers - aka - "Hooter Hiders".

Baby Maya (she was born Oct 6th so now we know the name!)

Olivia and John are having a baby girl!!! The name is going to be a surprise so for now...the blanket is called "Baby Hawkins"! I fell in love with this fabric as soon as I saw it. The back has a large scale organic print with greens, greys and pinks...which I think will match the babies room! Here is a close up of the Luverlies tag which is hand sewn on the back of each blanket and a cute shot of the onesie with the heart on the side of the bum! I cant wait to meet Liv's little girl...it's hard to believe we have been friends since the 6th grade!

Baby Stella

My friend Amy asked me to make a blanket for Lindsay who is expecting her first child...a baby girl. Amy sent me the nursery bedding website link and I matched the colors up to this modern organic fabric. It is so girly and funky, I just love it. I hope she does too!

Duckie blanket

Clare asked me to make a blanket for her friend Sumer who is having a baby boy. We dont know the name yet so I am calling it "the duckie blanket". It is one of my favorites so far. The back is done in a brightly color retro tree print and the front has matching colors and the duck fabric. To add to the cuteness there is a duck on the onesie and a blue duck on the bum!

Baby McKenna

My friends Steve and Christin had their first baby last month. They didnt find out the sex of the baby before hand so it was a surprise in the delivery room. Steve called me after everyone was settled and said..."something pink, pink, pink...its a girl"! This picture is from her first photo shoot! Adorable!

Baby Beckett...Lisa's Luverlies first baby model!

Lisa's Luverlies has its first baby model!!! Annie asked me to make a blanket for her friend Courtney who just had a baby boy...Beckett! She saw the blanket I had made for Baby Chase and liked the blue and organic theme. I found the cute leaf fabric, paired it up with a couple of stripes and it turned out perfect! Thank you Annie (and also to Alexa for referring a friend)!!! Lisa's Luverlies is so lucky to have such an adorable model!

Wubbies

My friend Jackie from highschool asked that I make her friend a wubbie...which after much research, is a small blanket for a toddler! I thought I didnt know this because I am not a mother...but much to my friend Alexa's astonishment...everyone who grew up in the 80's & 90's should have seen the movie Mr. Mom and thus should know what a wubbie is! Somehow my friend Alexa really does know everything about motherhood, babies...and additional misc facts! Anyway back to the wubbie design...Jackie's friend has a "5 monkies jumping on a bed" theme for her nursery. I was a little worried about the softness factor and the size factor therefore I made 2 blankets just to be safe. It was fun to make something new!

Baby Ozzy

Katie asked me to create a blanket with a monkey theme using green and brown. I matched up the polka dots to some of the fabrics that will be used in the nursery. Katie's sister is having a baby boy any day now and they are naming him Ozzy! I love the name! Many thanks to Katie for supporting Lisa's Luverlies!

Baby Henry

Thank you to Emily for purchasing a one of a kind baby blanket today! She asked me to make a blanket for her "preppy" friends with a nursery color scheme of red, navy and khaki! I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. Emily ordered a unique package with a blanket, burp cloth and matching onesie. What a perfect blanket for a preppy baby named Henry! Thanks again Emily for supporting my new business.

How to Place an Order

Simply email me at ltinnion@hotmail.com
or call me at 480.201.6777.

I typically need 3-4 weeks notice at the very least for a custom item. If its urgent though, I can usually make it work! :) I also keep a few in stock for those baby showers that pop up on your schedule out of no where! Or for men to order when they have no clue what the nursery colors are!!! Although, I am constantly surprised how great men are at making the blankets really unique. A year ago a fire fighter friend wanted me to create a custom blanket for his fire fighter wife who was expecting. He gave me a couple of their T-Shirt's with the PHX fire fighter logo and I matched it up with some vintage fire truck fabric. It turned out adorable!
